As John has now been cutting silhouettes for 20 years, he's recently been pondering which direction he should take for the final 15 or so. One of the regrets he has is that with his work being time consuming, and with time having to be charged for, he hasn't been able to push himself to his limit and produce extremely detailed work that takes a long time to produce.


 

However, he's now decided that the time has arrived to do just this: produce a range of hand-cut pictures that will be the best he is capable of producing. A maximum of ten pictures will be individually cut of each design. No.1 will be retained for his family and this may be used to produce prints and cards. The remaining nine will be for sale but only produced to order. An order may take a couple of months to produce. Each picture will be individually cut, signed and numbered.
